CSL Snakebite Management Poster Set
CSL has developed a 3-Step Snakebite Management poster set to promote safe and effective treatment for snakebite.
The posters are designed to increase the knowledge about snakebite management by providing:
- A step-by-step guide for snakebite first aid;
- Guidelines on how to safely and accurately identify a snake in a medical situation; and
- Medical management of the clinical signs of envenomation.
The posters also contain tips and additional information for snakebite, as well as photographs of snakes of medical importance in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

CSL SVDK Competency Test and Snakebite Management Quiz
CSL has developed SVDK Competency Tests and a Snakebite Management Quiz to aid competency assessment of staff who may be required to use the SVDK or encounter snakebite in real clinical situations. The competency tests and quiz are designed to be completed electronically and answer sheets can be requested by emailing ih@csl.com.au.
